Čovjek je biće koje uvijek nešto očekuje. Dijete očekuje, kada će postati velik, učenik očekuje, kada će završiti nauke, samac očekuje, kada će stupiti u brak, oženjen očekuje dijete… Crkva nas u adventu odgaja u očekivanju Isusova dolaska: Bdijte, jer ne znate, kada će doći Gospodin. Ovo očekivanje u vjeri i pouzdanju nije uvijek lako. Noa je osjećao, da je među svojima osamljen. To i mi osjećamo. Ali Noa je ustrajao. Znao je, da ga je Bog pozvao, da svjedoči za Njega. Lađa na suhom bila je nešto izvanredno, ali upravo u tome bilo je njezino svjedočenje. Uz nju bi se trebali zamisliti svi sunarodnjaci. Mi smo pozvani tako graditi lađu našega kršćanstva, da se uz nju zaustave i zamisle naši sunarodnjaci. A posebno u ovom DOŠAŠĆU!
